An Educator's Heart with a Journalist's Curiosity

English teacher turned journalist, finding meaning in the stories that connect us.

The Classroom to the Newsroom

My journey began in the classroom, where I discovered the power of storytelling to bridge gaps and foster empathy. As a senior multimedia journalism student at Loyola University Chicago, I have evolved from a teacher into a reporter, driven by a commitment to community-focused reporting and advocacy. Every story I produce is an effort to amplify the voices that deserve to be heard, blending traditional journalistic integrity with modern digital production skills to create impactful narratives.

"The more I explore journalism, the more I recognize its parallels with education and how both are essential to fostering an informed, engaged, and healthy society."
